Drop checker
#1
Firstly sorry for all these questions about Co2 use but I'm way out of touch, my system is up and running so my tank is 240Lts I'm using a large diffuser and the drop checker is at the opposite side of the tank to the diffuser, my question is how long roughly before the drop checker changes colour?

I’m not sure how long they initially take to change colour, it would depend on water volume and the amount of co2 required to diffuse into the water column to make the initial change. It may require tweaking.
But i think you want it to be green for when your lights come on so the plants have enough co2 as the lights come on. A common time seems to be for the co2 to come on an hour before the lights and an hour before lights go off. I dont know for definite just what i have read. Hope it helps

They take around 2 hours to change colour. As @Gingerlove05 says though it depends on circulation, water volume, etc as well.

It's a bit of a trial an error this bit Smile
