Powerhead recommendations, please
#1
Hi,

I started thinking (and worrying) again.  So...  without further ado, my next bit of paranoia.

The aquarium I bought came with a pair of fluval 806 powerheads.  I'm aware that these are, in all likelihood, over a decade old, so I'm thinking about replacing them, just to be on the safe side.  A good clean brought one back to good working order, the other was fine, but although I only need one, and so have one and a spare, I'd rather be safe.

Can any of you recommend a powerhead that runs quietly, has adjustable flow and can push a 6 foot head of water?

Eheim CompactOn 2100. Pumping head, 2.4 metres, adjustable flow from 1400 l/h to 2100 l/h. 2 metre cable too. I hate stuff with short cables Smile
