shake it up api.
#1
I've heard a lot of mention having to shake up api reagent bottles to get true readings well here's what I do ! I have arthritis so painful on wrists.ie I use a plastic tie tightened onto the bottle the tag end I insert into a electric drill and pull trigger .also   gives the chemical a good shake up anyone else does this?.

There's only a couple of bottles that require a good shake, one of the Nitrate test bottles and I'm not sure of the other.

The rest just need a little movement. Roll the bottle on a desk and you'll get the same result.

Buy yourself a vortex mixer, more fun than a drill and you can mix coctails with it too :-)
