Hello from wilts
#1
Hi just found tis place it looks pretty good. Have a roma90 little planted community looking farward to increasing my shrimp population only have 2 amano atm but looking to get some cherrys and see if babies happen.

One question i do have i will just add on as im not sure where it would go is the roma only has 15mm cut outs at the back to get the cables in for the internal filter but may down the line want a canister but after looking into it it seems that its not going to be easy with the gap being so small. The best i have read about so far was eheim with 16mm pipes but this still leaves the back lid resting up. So anybody know firstly of one the fits the roma led range without touching or secondly a canister filter that has 15mm or less inlet outlet pipes?  Many thanks martin

Hi Martin , welcome!! The guys & girls here will give you great advice. My tank is pretty similar, no room for a canister filter on mine either so will be watching for their replies lol.
I was thinking about a hack saw on the lid but could be something a little simpler

Hi Martin and welcome.

I believe that most people would make the gap bigger to fit an external filter on the Roma 90 by taking a piece out of the plastic flap.
You will probably be thinking of a bigger tank by then as the hobby gets addictive.

Hi all. I dont want to cut the tank in anyway as its brand new so if i cant find a external filter i may have to look into a more customisable internal one. As for going bigger im Firm im not i did that to many times with marine. I may do a small blog but as the tank is already set up and running and i never took many pics whilst i was setting it up and now it is not a lot changes really.
