Marine kit value?
#1
Hi, not sure if this is allowed:
I've bought a job lot of equipment, I'm using most but I've got a marine calcium reactor and pump that I want to sell, but I've no clue as to its value, so would like to ask on here what people think.
If its allowed I'll post the details and images, if not please delete this post Big Grin

Is there a brand name on it or the pump? What size is it?

Its a Schuran Seawater reactor, and a Eheim 1260 pump.

Are you sure that’s a reactor. I’m on my phone and can’t see the picture very well but does the top bit come off? The top section looks like a skimmer collection cup??

The little bit of blue pipe coming out of the top of the pipe from the pump could be the air intake??

I’m still a bit of a marine newbie but I don’t know of any reactors that have air intakes.

@SnowAddict @Marty.h @fr499y ideas guys?

I was intrigued as I’ve not seen a skimmer quite like that one so I’ve been googling. Looks like it could be a Schuran Jetskim 100 or very similar. A forum post in 2009 says it’s not modern!! People were rating them though as being very good.

Yes, its a skimmer...apparently. Not a clue myself, I did some research and originally thought it was a skimmer, then a calcium reactor, they were very expensive top quality one when new! I'd list it for sale but have no idea what its worth, I bought the job lot for the 2x new Eheim 300W heaters and other bits and just want to sell the marine stuff Smile

No idea on price. I could only find much newer ones and that company make the huge stuff used in public aquariums. One was almost 6 feet tall!!!

Maybe put it on eBay and just see what it gets to. Start at a price you’d be comfortable getting and see where it ends up.if it doesn’t sell drop the starting price by a couple of quid. That’s what we do with our old fishy stuff.

Any other mystery marine bits? Big Grin

Its a Jetskim 150, finally found a link  Woo
Cost a lot of money new, I've got the Eheim 1260 pump as well, which is listed with the bigger 200
