Hi All!!
#1
Nice to meet you all!

Been keeping cold water for years until my brother adopted them off me during hard times, then he was keeping them for years until hard times, now all the aquarium madness is back with me as I continued to look after a small tropical tank!

So the tanks!
50 Gal custom which was never picked up by the owner at our lfs! Calling it 40 gal as the spray bars take up a bit of room and the tank has a lower lip for glass panels.
Aquamanta efx 300 aiding this tank
300w Uniclife heater.

Then a 10 Gal qt/reserved tank with a 100w heater (unsure of brand), ironically this tank isn't much of a qt tank at the minute as the main one needed treating so my amanos live here!

And last of all a 2 gal algae establishing saltwater tank for trying to succeed with this whole amano breeding mlarc!

Having some issues though with the main tank! Hoping you experts have time to help me figure it out!
Smile
Michael

Already have MTS i see Big Grin
The amano breeding sounds interesting, as you have already discovered they don’t reproduce in fresh water. I look forward to seeing how you progress Smile

They live for a short while in fresh water, but hitting the recipe for reproducing what I'm assuming is sea water is challenging, she wasn't ready to burst yet, but the nutter of the weather loaches startled her and she decided to throw out 1/3 of her eggs which I only just cottoned onto last minute, That's why we only managed to grab 4 lavae #Doe!

And yeah the Mts is real bad atm, looking into a 100 gal already because the guppies seem to be reproducing like crazy at the moment and for some reason when the fry get targeted by the guppies the loaches chase the guppies away as they seem to enjoy Co existing with the fry (ironically not eaten them?!)
