Mossyboy's Fluval Roma 125
#1
My new tank is, as you can see, a Roma 125ltr. Best size I could get for the room that I have.

I bought a Tetra EX 800 plus canister filter to replace the internal filter that came with the kit, the light, heater etc. are the kit ones.

I am now 6 days into the cycle after starting with Dr. Tim's ammonia and One and Only. (couple of pics below, hopefully). PH is holding at 7.6.

After checking on Aqadvisor the following is my intended stock choice :  2 - Honey gouramis
                                                                                                       6 - Black emperor tetras
                                                                                                       6 - Yellow phantom tetras
2 - Rams (added when tank is established)
5 - Otos  (added when tank is established)
5 - Black cory. (or similar)

Just waiting and monitoring water now.

Bill

Tank looking great Smile l like the wood, will you be taking the pot off the plant on the right hand side?

Sick  Awww. you noticed then. It is some Anubia to add to the wood when I do my big water change.

Thanks for your comments, unfortunately I'm not so good at tank decoration.

Looking good Mossy Smile
My only thought is I would be careful with the rams and the gourami. Honeys are very docile and generally rams and gourami seem to have an issue with each other (south american/asian relations lol) so i would be careful with putting both in (its all to do with territory/space), as it would be the honeys who would get a beating in this case :/

Good point GL. I have a couple of Bol. rams in my other tank with a red robin gourami and don't have a problem, but I might have a rethink.
Thanks.
Will drop the rams and go with 4 Honeys.

Thanks Ian. Your comments are much appreciated.

My only regret, it is not a beast of a tank like yours. Angry

Hope everything is proceeding well.
