Lonely guppie and general advice
#1
Hi guys I’m fairly new to fish keeping and have only been doing so for a couple of months so any tips or advice would be great, but my problem is I have a small 50l tank with a few male guppies and a few other small fish (10 in total) and one of the guppies likes to hide behind the filter and I have to keep checking up on him because he sometimes gets stuck. Does anyone know why this, all the other fish look healthy and happy together. I’ve added pictures if it helps, Cheers.

What are the other small fish that are in with the guppies? Do you notice any ripped/nipped fins on the hiding fish?

Sorry think there showing up now, yes his tail has been ripped abit but was like it when I got the fish, He was active with the others until recently. There’s a couple of little alge eaters and I’m not too sure what the others are I think they are danios.

Yer he’s not looking in too good today. I found him stuck behind the filter when I got back from work so could be possible

A bent spine usually means an age problem.
How warm is the water?

He could be quite old then, they only live for about 2-3 years anyway, although most only seem to last about 18 months nowadays.
I keep my guppies at 22C, so 23C isn't that warm.
