Fertilizer - Albert's solution
#1
I'm wondering whether it is possible to use Albert's solution in a aquarium.
It has all the nutrients plants required.

From a quick look, it doesn't seem like a great idea: it's very high in nitrates, which is something that we normally try to minimise in aquarium environments.

The other nutrients in it might be helpful, but I wouldn't want to say if they would harm the fish.

Thank you for the response.

I'm sorry for not mentioning earlier, I'm planning to use it in a plant only aquarium.
i use the tank to propagate some plants.

Why not just use a proprietary Aquarium plant fertiliser, plenty to choose from.  Wink

Main reason is the cost. Liquid fertilizers are very expensive in here.
