Feeding while in hospital
#1
On my blog I’ve posted about Hawking and his poorly tail.

He’s in hospital now with Melafix. Do I feed as normal during treatment?

He’s still tiny but growing quickly so don’t want him to go without for too long.

I would feed as normal, might be worth adding a bit of garlic in with the food, this should help boost the immune system, just dont use too much. The food would also help keep his energy up, just dont overfeed him Smile

You mean ordinary fresh garlic? Chopped up really small?

Yeah crush it and add the juice to the food, i have had one or two fish have a peck at bits but they generally dont eat it all. That or i use food which has garlic in it Big Grin

Don't use it every day. Twice a week for 6 weeks should be sufficient to boost the immune system.
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it! Big Grin

Enjoy your fish, shrimps and snails!
