Crikey! There’s no way I could pick one fave film.

Star Trek is best franchise in my opinion but there are so many shows and films!

Stargate
Farscape
Alien franchise
Predator franchise
Close Encounters
E.T
Ghostbusters
Back To The Future
Is Jurassic Park sci-fi?
Tons more I will think of later!!

Yeah! LoadsBig Grin

Sci-Fi is my comfort blanket. Smile

Alien was my 1st venture into this genre, I waited and waited for another film that would make me feel the same, excitement, fear, astonishment and amazement.
It took years later until The Matrix to get that same hit. Close Encounters was another that hit the spot, watch that over and over.
Don’t get me wrong load of films in between hit the right buttons.
Love Star Trek, we been here before Wink love the latest ones.
Donnie Darko is a whole different debate, but it’s in there.
Night Shyamalan is a fav director.
Like these too, MIB, Passengers, Life, Galaxy Quest, Abyss, Total Recall (old one) Interstellar, District 19, Contact, Inseption ( think that’s cos Tom Hardy is in it )
Tons more to list.

Major confession, I have never seen any of the Star Wars Films and don’t think I ever will. Big Grin

You’ve never seen Star Wars!!!!!!!!!!!!

You really should! They’re excellent.

You have to watch them in the order 4 5 6 1 2 3 then Rogue One you can ignore the most recent ones cos they’re a bit pants. Got very bored halfway through the most recent one and I am a huge Star Wars fan.

Agree with you about most of the others you listed except for Donnie Darko cos that was just weird?!?!

Star Wars has never gripped me...I’m sort of ‘meh’ about it.

Donny Darko is so weird isn’t it, me and a friend will debate it for hours, was it time travel, was he dead , who was the bunny...usually with a glass or two of alcohol Wink

Alien is a belter of a film and I like The Thing from the 80's or 90's.

There was one SciFi movie that I thought was amazing but I forget the name of it but at the end, the guy finds this spacecraft crashed maybe I think, opens it and it's him inside it. It was a bit strange and it's annoyed me ever since I can't remember it's name. It was a bit dystopian throughout. It somehow reminded me of the video game Half Life.

Agree with the Star Trek film franchise, quality films.

Sin City was good. The Matrix films. Blade Runner. Couple of Terminator films.

Love all the 'Trek barring Voyager and Discovery. Star Wars except 7/8, they don't exist to me. The 90s classics were my bread and butter, Babylon 5, Space Above and Beyond etc, all the "danw of cgi" ones.

Movies, I love cheap B movie horror scifi. Hardware, The Thing, Prince of Darkness, Event Horizon (which I still consider one of the scariest scifi films), Leviathan, Deep Star 6 and so on.

Iconic Aliens of course, Predator 1 & 2.

And then all things Zombie, I've probably become more zombie obsessed than scifi in my later years!

I don't really have a genre for films. I'll watch anything if im in the mood for it. I do enjoy a good comedy/action film though.
