right guys another update, today has been very stressful as i had to get the glass together
anyhow its done now, made a fair bit of mess and ill admit my siliconing is not the greatest but its thick and i suppose its better to have to much than not enough.
got to wait for a couple days now maybe more and then water test it.
i will be back. thanks.
pentagon build help please

>>I picked it up but yes it came with a sticker with a fill date. 10 days after I picked it up. 12 days total. 1 day for each mm of glass. Ow and it is custom made if you didn't know.<<
This is from @SxAqua tank log with regards to how long he had to wait before he could fill his tank. If you have used plenty of silicone, perhaps just make sure you wait long enough for it to bond properly. Tank is coming together nicely, though

managed to get myself a fluval 306 external filter less than a year old for £40 today so thats another little thing sorted.
nearly time to test the tank is water tight.
i hate waiting but im sure it will be worth it once its all set up.
do i need any special bits when i fill the tank and run the filter for a week until i add fish?
like is there any protocol i need to follow?
update soon.
cheers.

A proper fishless cycle will take anywhere from 2- 8 weeksmrt wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 22:39 pm managed to get myself a fluval 306 external filter less than a year old for £40 today so thats another little thing sorted.

If your filter is still being used in a stocked tank and you get to keep the media, then it would already be cycled.
If not, then we recommend fishless cycling, as referred to by @mikeyw64 .
