Oh boy so do I Ian! I talked to the guy in the shop and these are the ones he recommended - he says he has had good reports about them. We came to the conclusion that with my set up and tank size I have a good chance for success but he said there is no definitive answer, which was a good honest answer. I’ll always want to try angels so while he had these lovely ones I just went for it!

I will lay hands on my tank and pray for the Prince of Peace to bring it to my three angels! 😜

Give the tank a good clean with mild bleach to kill off any (for fish) nasties. ;)

Poor hamster - being evicted in this cold weather :P

Hope you'll sort him/her out with a deluxe upgraded super-duper activity accommodation with tunnels and stuff :D

Party Pooper here - but that’s too small for a hamster. :-/

All hamsters need 80cm wide minimum - the pink tank thing is far short of that as I use one as an ‘emergency’ housing only xx

It’s a dwarf hamster and there will be two levels and a secure lid. I don’t think it’s far off 80cm tho - will measure it.

I’m afraid we’ll have to agree to disagree - it’s not big enough - 80cm is bare minimum width-wise. I have dwarf hamsters and a robo’ too and I wouldn’t house one permanently in one of those tanks. When you measure the internal part they’re smaller than you think as the base slopes inwards unlike a glass tank which has straight sides.

If you’re interested in hamster stuff you should look at German Hamster Information and set-ups - very inspiring!!
