So after the annoying issue with the Aqua Nano ( It can be repaired as its only the inner acrylic sheet ) coming apart and leaving me with not much of a filter compartment, I've decided to go back to the basics.
What do we have?
36" x 12" x 12" Aquarium
Sponge power filter ( Aquael Mini Pat )
55W Heater at 22*C until new 150w arrives.
2x T5 Tubes 21W ( Three tube unit, only two in use ) - Temp light until i have a few pennies kicking around for an upgrade.
The stock is the same as before.
6 Harlequin Rasboras
About 8 or 10 Neon Tetras
Barry the Betta
5x Ammano Shrimp

I'll grab a picture when the light is on. It's not bright by any standards ( standard T5's not VHO or even HO T5's ) but for the low light plants, it should be perfect until i decide on what light to get.

Thanks. I'm patiently waiting for the vallis to send some runners in the other tank so i can transfer them across.

With my low lighting I am thinking of giving vallis a go. I am just waiting for my water to get softer as I read a lot of plants seem to prefer it.

I'm in a hard water area and have no problem growing it

Yep, I've got 'moderately hard' water and my Red Vallis has more runners than the London marathon.

need to have a trim of the dead leaves but it’s looking how I want it ( minus the Vallis )
The harlequins are loving the extra length which is nice to see.
