Beef heart once a day. I did stop but they seemed to get a bit reserved at feeding time. Added it back in and they go nuts for anything again. They also have frozen Lobster eggs/brine shrimp mix once a day and then I use Discus Delights from Plymouth Discus, 4 feeds a day in total whilst they're young. Feeding will largely depend on where you buy them. If you went the Stendker route you'd probably need to go down the beef heart route as that's what they brought up on whereas mine were feeding on dry food before I had them.

@Redpanda I remember seeing that fish a while back. Did you manage to sex it?
Your over filtered so may be able to get away with adding a mate for it.

That’s part of a problem, I’m not sure of a sex and in the past attempted with Bolivian rams to introduce mate and it was extremely difficult. Problem is that you can’t sex them juveniles and best to get a group, where is I never had room for that. So ended up having a single one...Andys temperate tank wrote: ↑Sun Jan 17, 2021 16:35 pm @Redpanda I remember seeing that fish a while back. Did you manage to sex it?
