They're just being protective of their nest area and might also fan the eggs to keep them free from dirt and ensure sufficient oxygenation. Typical cichlid behaviour, really. Same as your angels protecting their eggs on the plant leaves.
I've been thinking their behaviour would be similar to the Angel's with them being cichlids, although there isnt anything else in the tank.

Cheers Jon. I'm currently searching gumtree for a cheap tank to raise any fry I get.

Well I didn't find a cheap tank on gumtree.

I found 2! The lad was selling 2 55l aqua one cubes with filters, heaters and lights, 2 air pumps and 2 air powered filters. The tanks are in great condition apart from where the light clamp has broke through the background.

Funny you say that ric. Zarra has just been accusing me of turning my shed into a fish room on the sly. If it wasnt for all the bikes and fishing rods I'd add more. :grin:
