I’ll not mention on the Betta group....i’ll Get yelled at for being right yet again about something when i’m not even an admin 🤣🤣 (aka they who must not be corrected).
240L Fluval Roma with Oase 600 Biomaster: 1 German red bristlenose, 4 male cherry barbs, 6 standard rummynose, 3 golden rummynose tetra, 9 emperor tetra, 14 cardinal tetra, 2 hengeli rasbora, 3 nerite snails, 1 adult Sulawesi snail and multiple juveniles continually appearing.

Parameters: gH2, kH1, pH7.4 (tap).
Fish fiend since October 2017.

There’s a very large American forum that’s just like that. I’ve been banned twice for correcting incorrect info given by a mod.

Er, excuse me people, I must point out we are not allowed to say male or female anymore.

This fish as with all living creatures have rights and are now to be class as gender neutral, you could quite possibly upset it's feelings. :dodgy2:

Remember that wild bettas don't have the fancy finnage, or colouration, so it can be hard to tell with young bettas which gender they are.
It isn't unusual to find a male in a group of females, but it can be cause for concern.
I'd err on the side of saying it's a male just from the body shape. Females tend to have a bulgier chest, whereas males are more streamlined, although there may not be much difference.

I checked with them and they're okay with 'male' and 'female' :swim2: :grin:
