Malaysian trumpet snails. Ian’s substrate is around 60% mts i reckon

All MTS, I lost my ramshorns and bladders in the "Great Curtain Rail Crash of 2010" and haven't replaced them.
I've actually removed about 50% of the snails from that tank, which seems to be able to breed anything that goes in it (guppies, pandas, MTS).

Was making a cuppa this a.m. and all of a sudden a light bulb moment...ah yes trumpet snails hahaha
im guessing assassins will have ‘em.

I don't do very much any more, just feed crushed pellets/granules.
The plants give enough cover so some survive. They balance themselves out after a while to what can survive in the tank.
