Lol no need to cook
With courgette and cucumber i cut a chunk off rinse it, dry it off then drop it in the tank for my BN. Red pepper is also a personal favourite of hers :D
To the tune of “the saints go marching in”:

Hi Krang, I think they look great! I'm looking for more snails, can anyone tell me if these are suitable for soft water?

I came home from work to find they have demolished the plant. Operation courgette seems to have appeased them. They need to feed their burgeoning cranial matter. The Cthulhu snail ascension has begun. ImageImage
