Keep your eye on any poo, just to see if anything shifts parasite-wise.

Haven't seen anything parasite-wise so far, s/he has been pooping though.

Here's a current pic, looks like scales are starting to pinecone a bit :(

Thanks Plankton.

We lost him. Thought he was just a young un and we'd have had him for longer :( He had a very happy home though.

Thanks everyone, losing fish is obviously rubbish but so grateful to be able to ask for experienced advise.

In happier news we found our third baby cherry barb born in the tank the other week - tank life goes on

Mixed fortunes, indeed. Sorry for the loss but it seems he had not been well for a while, so perhaps a relief for the fish. Definitely good news on your cherry barbs (hence your forum name?).
Is there a blog/pics of your tank with the little one?

Pronounced Cherry like the barbs :)

Thanks everyone. Hopefully he didn't suffer too long. The shop we got him from was horrible, never again.

Will try and grab a pic of new baby barb when it comes out from it's hiding spot, it's still teeny tiny, like a grain of rice! The older two are a male and a female (called Diana Ross and Pink Panther! :P )
