Crews Hill in Enfield - there you find Wildwoods Aquatics, MA and a couple of smaller ones tucked inside or behind garden centres.

Then there is the big MA in St Alban's, of course :)

How is the MA in St Albans? I've been to the Wembley / Neasden one and even the staff advised me against buying fish from there because they're not the greatest apparently!

Not the greatest - in terms of? I've only been a couple of times but they have always been decent, just a large MA really. Like their marine display tank and their koi pond indoors.
Like any chain store, do your research first so you know what you want and what to look for.

I havent been to this one, but Reefkeeper in windsor might be worth a visit if not too far?

Reefkeeper in Rugby(actually Willoughby) has some great looking stock (not all marine) and all the fish I've bought from there have been healthy from day 1(i've had them a couple of weeks now), it was like they didnt even know they'd been moved.
They are basically an MA, but I guess specialise in marine and to me seemed way more upmarket than one you might find in a dobbies

Caveat: probably check before travelling that they do tropical if that's what you're after, I can't see any on their google images
