I'm just gutted my bike MOT lapsed before the lockdown came into force so I don't get the 6 month extensionMartinspuddle wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 20:14 pmThat's the best excuse I heard for a drive in the countryside.
My Parents live around 2 hours way just outside Ludlow and a run down is so much nicer on the bike then in the truck (all 3 of us siblings live pretty much equidistant from them, I'm up here near Wigan, sister is down in Wells & brother is in Aylesbury)
I usually head down the A49 from Warrington then turn left at Ludlow towards where they live at Hopton Wafers

@Gingerlove05 I have three very similar looking heaps scattered round the house
My dad is gutted that the weather is turning nice and he can't get out on his bike (Honda CBR 600 I think he's got.
Just been out on my bike for a ride round the lanes after WFH but mine sadly is the pedal type. Only did 6 miles and gobsmacked at how unfit I am!!! Also really really need to get some oil on the chain. Not good!

Such a shame, as a kid I remember the fields being full of Lapwings or large flocks of them circling overhead. Summer evenings all you would hear was their calls coming from the fields.
