Is that only 7/8? Although then it depends if its British Standard or Whitworth :D
Although someone has ground it out to make it a little bigger :D

It was my dads - only he could tell you why he did it! I was rooting around in mums garage and dads tool bench is just the way he left it - a MESS! Lol! I thought it would be nice to have a bit of dad around the pond 😊.

He had a bench and toolboxes full of metal tools and contraptions and old rusty clamps! More May appear around the pond 😁

Ha!!

It could be for the pond fish - to detare them from getting too ‘frisky’ in the hot weather! There’ll be none of that my pond!!

if you plan on leaving them outside as added decor can I suggest preserving them in their current condition them with a matt lacquer

You certainly can and that’s welcome advice! I was wondering how to preserve them! Someone had suggested spraying it black, but I don’t want to cover it up.

Oil is often advised. A lacquer sounds less ‘messy’ though...
