Couple of the best cars I ever had were BM! - The F30 3 series was a great car!

Thats alot of car to be pulled around by a 1.6 John! Unless its the 160bhp ecoboost!

..... everyone should have a Juke 😁😁
Jukes are too slow for me Ruth.

@Jon_D I've always wanted a go of the 3.2 z3. I'll bet it's a hoot to drive.

Hi Lee, not a problem as long as the driver knows it won’t sprint away from the traffic lights! The engine is Ford 1.6L Duratorq DLD-416 TDCI (Variable Garret Turbo) , with a specially designed 6 speed gearbox with ratios to accommodate it. Very quite engine for a diesel and will cruise comfortably at 2k revs while doing 70mph, no engine noise at all. Fuel consumption is 60 mpg. (I live in the countryside and no short runs) . It’s one of the most comfortable cars I have ever owned. You don’t realise it is such a small engine, but I must admit that when I first got it, I had a couple of hair raising experiences when overtaking , as I forgot how heavy this one is. The previous car was a MINI Cooper Cabrio with BLUESPARK chip, which activated at 4k revs and really took off!!!! (MINI's name was Carly :P )

P.S. Forgot to add, Annual Car Tax is £30....

@Andys temperate tank .Any idea where the problem lies in your M3? One area used to be the fuel lead from or indeed in, the petrol tank. Sediment used to pass through to the injectors.

The expansion bottle split in 2 a couple of weeks ago. Fixed that and it over heated again today. It's either 1 of the 2 fans (1 is on permanent and the 2nd one kicks in to double up the cooling when needed) are buggered, water pump or thermostat. Knowing my luck itll be a combination of those.

At least I'll not have to have a coolant change on my inspection 2 service this year.

@Andys temperate tank ...Sorry about that as I know the engine quite well as it powered my Z3. I really hope that its not the water pump which is affected, hopefully only the thermostat. However can I cheer you up a little.... it could have been a head gasket! I hope all is fixed to your satisfaction and at as little cost as possible.

I'd probably break it if it was the gasket Jon. And buy an e92 m3 for the v8.

The car is at my friends garage. I'll only probably pay the lad who fixes its wages on top of parts.
