You might want to think about moving your heater to 45 degrees, over time their longevity seems to be shortened when mounted vertically.
Interesting I had heard of them being mounted on the 45 I didn’t realise it had an impact on their lifespan.
I guess when they’re in the vertical they sort of heat themselves...heat rising and all that.
They also spread out the heat to the water column when angled instead of heating straight up in a narrow column. Hope that makes sense
