Hi all,
I have been interested in and been impressed by the tank setups and general knowledge of the forum members here. I have joined knowing that l will be able to increase my limited experience/knowledge by doing so.
I have been keeping pond (Gold) fish for quite some time in the garden and in fact have kept them in a tank as fry/young returning to the pond when too big for the tank/big enough to survive outside.
I don't use live plants, l have tried but failed. I hope to gain the knowledge on this forum to try again at a later date, until then l shall use imitation. I can hear the purists groaning when they read that so l will apologise for it now. Having said that, the fish don't seem to mind and l maintain a good healthy environment for my fish.
I will start a Tank log shortly. I am unsure if l should have a log for each tank or a single log encompassing them all.
Best wishes to you all.
The Lazy Saint.

Welcome to the forum.
I'm not surprised you can't keep plants with goldies.

Hello and welcome
Fake plants?! What are they?
No purists here, or at least none that will have a go for using fake plants

Welcome to the forum.
How many tanks are you running then? Sometimes its easier, for me as reader, to keep track of their individual developments in separate logs. If you do put them all in one, just make sure you update each tank equally frequently
...and there is also a pond section, for any pond log (just saying)...
Plus, keep @Drifty satisfied with lots of pics
