I use filter floss that's been in a filter, rinsed and dried. It has sufficient abrasiveness to clean but not scratch. I don't mind getting my arm wet, it helps me keep cool here!

I've got a blue pad on an extendable handle for the inside of the small tanks and a flipper cleaner for the big one.

I fancy one of these as well. They use bank cards or similar.as the blade.

Yes, you can get the "scrub pads on a stick" nowadays, makes it a bit easier if you haven't got bristlenoses.... ;)

I can’t reach the bottom of my tank - I’d fall in and end up being swept around and around in the current created by the power head and filter, along with the floating plants!

i just use floss. I've still got about 2 metres of the stuff from 4 years ago.
