I would take a picture next time and just ask here what they are and if they will do well with your tank.LookoutTrout wrote: ↑Mon Jul 12, 2021 16:11 pm I wanted nerite snails but was told no, they only have these yellow and black ones. Like when I wanted an SAE and was told they only have flying foxes and not the Siamese type, after some careful pattern checking it was obvious they were SAE so I bought one.

@Drifty, Nerite snails are not very good at self righting themselves, so you need to give some help. If it's still there by morning, give it a sniff, if it stinks the snail it most likely deceased.

Nerites will sleep for a couple of days if they're full, usually on their shell.
They can right themselves, but they are so awkward doing it and look as though they're having problems.
If you're unsure in the future, take it out and smell it (not too close) - they really stink when dead!

So I checked didn't smell anything and saw him popping out while I was holding him so I put him back in the tank...
Today I see him on the side of the tank so he is alive was just sleeping as @plankton mention...
