Hi everyone, I was just wondering whether I could keep Dwarf Emerald Rasbora with Praecox Rainbowfish? It will just be these two species in the tank.

They may be ok, but are very small even when adult. Even so, I would have though that, as the praecox aren't massive themselves, it would work.

Hello and welcome, I know from researching them the Rasbora come from lake Inle where the water is seriously hard, not sure on the rainbows regarding water hardness, but so long as your water is not very soft it should be fine since they are both peaceful, another small fish you could look at that is very colourful is Celestial Pearl Danio, they would be similar to the Rasbora in size ;)

I have kept Emerald rasboras and now keeping 40 Praecox.

I think the Praecox are quite boisterous (certainly when fed.

I wouldn't combine them with quite shy fish.
