You need 0 ammonia and nitrite. Anything above that is toxic unfortunately. On a positive note, the fact you’re getting increased nitrite shows your tank is at least starting to cycle, but you absolutely cannot add more fish as yet.

You need to either carry out water changes (potentially multiple times a day) until you have 0/0 ammonia/nitrite, or order a bottle of Seachem prime. Once you have that, add the recommended dose (states on the bottle) to neutralise the toxins, and then you’ll only need to do water changes every other day, dosing with Prime each time.

Do give the guides on the forum a read to understand the cycling process. Unfortunately a lot of pet stores don’t give correct advice because their job, at the end of the day, is to sell as many fish as possible.

Once your tank is cycled you only have space for maximum 2 more white clouds, and that is pushing it. Again, places like pets at home give terrible advice on stocking levels and encourage more fish than healthy.
