Hi all,
I noticed something very different about my female anano, she seems to be laden with eggs in her swimmerets. Went from a lot of eggs to ‘oh my goodness’ amount of eggs.
I have learned through reading up on them that it won’t be possible to rear the young due to their brackish water requirements. Just looking for a little advice or a heads up on anything that I might need to do when eggs potentially hatch (which will be around end of may-ish or will my other tank residents take care of the huge egg bonanza about to arrive?
Cheers

They’ll end up as free food for the residents so no need to do anything

Yes, the zoes (shrimplets) don't stay alive long in freshwater.
You'll notice her disappear for a couple of days and when she comes back she'll have moulted and I doubt you'll see the zoes. The male will then be extra attentive and so it goes on.....

If at first you don't succeed....
