So the new tank is all setup on the original stand. This allows me to have a few extras at the sides :D Yay!

It's 55L and will be home to the old bristlenose ( 6+ years now ) and a betta that we haven't found yet and thats it.

The filter has the ceramic rings and Biohome Ultra filter media in as well as a new sponge. A chunk of the old sponge will be cut up and stuck in the filter instead of the catridges that come with it ( these get blocked so easilly and cause all sorts of flow issues )

The main thing i need to do is get hold of another pump as the standard ones are sh*t.

Can’t wait to see a picture!!!
Love me a betta fish, Bob is a bit like the goldfish, straight up to the front of the tank as soon as he sees you, love when they circle their food then strike, or mine does anyway.

Had a few over the years, my last one was a HMPK short fin and cost nearly £40. Had a few of the regular half moons in the usual red and blue but this time we are looking for another fancy HMPK.

Eheim CompactOn 600 has been ordered so thats another thing ticked off the list.
Cut my alloy up for the light bracket ( Same style as the 4 foot )

Pretty much the final scape.
All the other fish from the 4 foot are currently in a 50L bucket with filter, heater and 90% of the media so there good till they go. Daily water changes of course!

Ignore the lighting, the standard light isn't going to be used

Not decided as of yet, if i can get one imported then i might go with a giant koi betta. A fair bit larger than your standard ones ( these tend to be around the 4" in size )

Tanks looking great Fr499y, top job.

Was looking at the Bettas a few weeks ago for the beach before deciding to go with the puffers. They’re lovely fish so I’m glued to this thread waiting for one to arrive! [emoji1303]
