One of my female guppies had babies this morning, I can count 17 so far, most are sheltering under a coconut husk so I can't tell for sure just how many there are at the moment.
The mum seems to be chasing them already, how long should I wait before moving her to the main tank again? ImageImage

How exciting, and how cute is that little fella ? sorry I can’t help, I haven’t a clue about guppies, sure one of the others will be along soon. Keep us posted and good luck.

If she has finished giving birth then i would move her back, she might chase and eat some of the fry as they don’t exhibit any parental care.

Thank you both [emoji846]
What would I feed baby guppies, just the normal tropical food flakes broken up a bit?

Yeah i used either the tetra baby flakes (its like powder) or i have used a pestle and mortar to grind up pellets/food. I also feed the small frozen foods like rotifers and cyclops :)

Love baby guppies - they have to be the tiniest of the common live bearers.

If you ever see baby mollies or baby sailfin mollies, they look h-u-u-u-g-e by comparison.
