Being new to the Forum, I thought I'd start a Tank Log for my Marina Vue 87L.
It is my first Aquarium, having never kept fish before.
I wanted a small tank in which to keep smaller fish species and have real plants and some hardscaping.

I started off with the hardscaping which includes rocks, pebbles and wood based on black substrate and gravel.

I wanted a mixture of stem and small plants that would be easy to grow without CO2,
So I have Anubias Nana, Cryptocoryne (Walkeri, Spiralis and Petchii), Hygrophila Rosae Australis, Amazon Sword, Java Fern and Hair Grass.

The first fish were 5 Rasbora Hets.

Followed by 5 Panda Corydoras.

Next I added 4 Amano Shrimp.

Finally I added 2 Lemon Honey Gouramis.

I think that is the tank fully stocked, for now.
Although I have recently swapped the internal Marina filter for a Fluval 207, so I may be able to add a few more fish in the near future.

Thanks Annie.

Yes i wanted to provide places for the inhabitants to explore and hide if necessary.
Only it seems to be working too well as i hardly see the shrimp and the Gouramis seem a bit shy and hang out in the Hygrophila now that it has grown.

I have some more recent pictures and will update this when I get the chance.

Nice looking tank and a gentle peaceful set-up.

Perhaps I'm just a little paranoid but just make sure your heater is ok to stick out at the top. I always make sure mine are completely immersed; its my nightmare scenario that the water level may have dropped for whatever reason and the heater glass shatters...as I said, might just be me

Thanks for the heads up Ric.
I assumed that the controller at the top of the heater needed to be out of the water.
I'll check and submerge if necessary.

Isn’t that the case, provide a nice interesting home for them and the critters can’t even show up for you :D
Looking forward to more pics, we love pics here !

Yes, typical. :D
I seem to have crammed a lot into the space so my own fault i guess.
When I look at other tanks there seems to be more space between hardscape and plants.
Up to now, all is well with the fish but who knows how I'll get them out if i ever need to. :)
