ok , not adding any Dr T's this morning , going to leave it until late afternoon/early evening. Lets see if I can see any discernible movement on the nitrite front as at the moment I'm still "feeding"
Need to keep an eye on that PH/KH as well I think

It probably won't make much difference, if any.
The ammonia munchers need to be kept fed as they're not as robust as the nitrite munchers.
You should only be a few days away from being cycled anyway.

bit late today as was in Walsall for a funeral this morning, again the Nitirite is a guesstimation on colour as the NT is either 8 or 4 and its somewhere in between

The ammonia seems to be shifting nicely, so you must be very close now.

oh aye, quite happily munching through the ammonia.
Weds it had 5ml added (7ml has typically been taking to 2ppm) in the morning by Mumsie (left it in a test tube for her) and that was all gone by the time I got home mid afternoon

for comparison Fireplace using the Fish In Method took 55 days to being ready to add more fish to the original Platys.
Fishless has taken 20 days so far

here's a question.
My proposed Stocking is
30 Rummy Nose Tetra
10 Sterbai
6 young Angelfish (around 3-4 cm)
Move the 3 Adult Platys
Still thinking about the Agassiz (1 male & maybe 2/3 females)
How many of these could I add in the first load?
