Yup! filter and heater go in the white section in the tank. There is loads of room for ceramics, average flow from the filter ( which iirc is adjustable ) so perfect for a Betta. Light is alright and kind of built in.

Thanks fr499y. Your right the flow is adjustable. I was looking into it last night.
Does the ceramic go in the filter side of the box or where the heater will go?

yup i think it comes with a small bag of something and a sponge. It's been a few years since I've seen one in person.

Thanks for the info mate. That's the first decision made.
Now to decide what I'm going to do inside. [woo]

Well today is officially the start of my next adventure.
Me and zarra went to maidenhead aquatics in dobbies garden centre.
On finding the supafish home 40 it looked a bit small so then I looked at the fluval flex tanks. But cant get away with the mesh around them.
Then I stumbled on the supafish home 60. It was on sale for £100 and looked just right for where it is going to go. Tank sorted.
Then I spotted a nice big azalea root so I grabbed that, opened the home 60 display tank up and test fit it. It's just what i wanted.
Next we rang round some LFS and found one that stocked seachem flourite. We drove there and found some nice rocks in the shop. I was gutted when I realised they only had one bag of each flourite in stock. I got a bag on flourite dark. I was going to go for black but decided this would be look better against the black tank surround.
I'm off to have a bit mess around with it all now.

You'll want some broad-leaved plants for the betta to rest on.

I've been wondering what sort of hight the broad plants should be.
The will be water lettuce going in for some shade as well. And I really like the way the roots hang in the water.

All heights, then the betta can decide where he likes best.
