Does anyone who knows this aquarium know why they say that it needs to be installed vertically. As I can only fit it at a slight angle. Is it some sort of safely issue or does it just function better vertically? I have attached an image so you can see what I am talking about.

Thanks for the reply it seems to be keeping the water at the desired temperature quite accurately actually. So at the minute it seems to be working correctly and shutting off when it needs to. I will keep an eye on it and move it if necessary I suppose.

Can't tell what the cabinet is made of but assume wood.
Could you get some adhesive magnetic or velcro strip or even cable ties and attach it to that central pillar?
