I thought this was going to be a new tank with nothing else in it, didnt see th ebit about other fish already marked down. Not sure archers are really community fish so maybe not.

I think they only go into freshwater when hunting, they certainly don't do well if not kept in brackish. ;)
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it! :D
