Attachments

It might just be me but I can't seem to get a picture to show in my tank log.  I go to choose file then add attachment.  My browser says it's uploading but nothing shows on the thread.   Am I doing something wrong?

right hand side after you have chosen the file there is a button that says 'Add Attachment' click that and it should upload.

Yep tried that. Just seen in another thread there's a file size limit, I'll try again with smaller pics.

I can't post screen shots, says max size allowable is 500 kilobytes.

I was trying to upload 2 though.

Do I need to do them separately?

Nope, file size limit for jpg, jpeg is 2mb. bmp, gif etc might be different though.

Just had a go at posting a thread but came a cropper! 

Because I had more than four photos to include I assumed that I would have to spread them over a series of posts, not just one.  

So I composed a first post for the thread and posted it. The system took me back to the thread and I hit 'new reply' in order to post the second one.  However the machine interpreted my instruction as 'modify post' and simply added the new text and attachment to what I'd done before.  I didn't notice until trying to post the fourth installment, when I came up against the four-attachment limit again. 

I've missed a trick somewhere but don't know what it is!

attachment limit was set to 4, now set to 10.
