No, "Dad" is an albino. It's about 50/50 for the fry, but the browns seem to be stronger. The survival of the albinos is much lower.
If at first you don't succeed....

[/quote]Then mum must have a recessive albinogen Ian.
Otherwise there wouldn't be albinofry !

Is that the male from the same “batch” as SJP? If so about 2.5years old? He does have some impressive bristles!
To the tune of “the saints go marching in”:
Oh fluffy sheep! Oh fluffy sheep! Oh fluffy sheep are wonderful, they’re white Welsh and fluffy! Oh fluffy sheep are wonderful!

He's just over a year, as are all the adults (I have 4 adults, three males - in separate tanks - and one female and lots of sprogs ranging up to about 6 months now from the pair in the Trigon).
I think the "albinos" are both "super reds" as they're only about 3", not the normal 4", the female must be as well although she's brown. The other male is massive, he must be nearly 5"!! Dwarfs the pandas and guppies......maybe they just make him look bigger. He makes me laugh as I don't see him except when I do the water change, then he comes out and looks for my hand, then runs away! Silly, grumpy wotsit.

Earliest photo i can find of SJP is dated September 3rd 2017, she was no bigger than the width of a cucumber
And i know Nick had them for a couple of months before that hence the around 2.5 years old give or take a bit
PS just checked back on the other place log, 28th August 2017 is when i got SJP
