Just don't know. Our worry was it might of been a dead fish with a seafishing hook but the vets says he doesn't think so.
He's done it again! :@

He's a lovely looking boy. Hope he feels better soon.
Sighthounds do unfortunately tend to damage themselves as you know. I have had lurchers and Deerhounds for many, many years now and they all seem to crash into things at high speed or do stupid stuff like jumping a fence they can't see the other side of.
If I had all the vet bills I have paid over the years back, I could buy myself a rather nice new Harley for sure.

If you look back through this thread, you'll Charlie's many accidents and misdemeanours. He's become so infamous, the vets reckon he is the worst Sighthound on their books.adm wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2024 19:44 pm He's a lovely looking boy. Hope he feels better soon.

He looks exceedingly cross about having to wear his muzzle! You are not alone in the expensive dog stakes, Denzil is on first name terms down at our local vet! last month he had a lump removed from his leg, that plus the resulting sickness, injections steroids etc has come to about 1k, I've told him no more vet for the rest of the year - doubt he will listen though! Glad it was not a fishing hook for your boy, to see him pass blood must have been a real worry, hope he is feeling a bit perkier now.

Joking aside I hope he feels better soon, but he does not look too impressed with the muzzle.
2 years must be the longest run without him finding the only pot hole in a field or chewing something he shouldn’t, maybe he is getting wiser
To the tune of “the saints go marching in”:
Oh fluffy sheep! Oh fluffy sheep! Oh fluffy sheep are wonderful, they’re white Welsh and fluffy! Oh fluffy sheep are wonderful!

Still as nuts as ever. He snapped a couple of dew claws and had a couple of cuts and scraps but nothing serious until now.Gingerlove05 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2024 21:55 pm I’ve told you before it’s the owner
