I've updated the rules

Tank of the month NEW rules (2024)

• To vote for your favourite aquarium, please press the report button [!] on the post containing a recent full tank picture and select the reason as 'I nominate this aquarium for the 'Tank of the Month' award.

• All nominations are welcomed and the most nominated tank wins. Only one nomination per user per tank will be counted.

• Users may nominate multiple tanks, but please do not nominate your own.

• All aquascapes are welcome, from planted to hardscape only setups.

• Advertising your own aquarium via pictures for personal gain will result in the poster being shot, slapped or put out to pasture

Green Barb – Puntius semifasciolatus

This is a Green Tiger Barb (Puntigrus “tetrazona”), not a Green Barb.

This month Fish of the month is Barbs. Clearest picture of the fish as possible and try not to get any others in the shot.

One entry per person.
No conversations.
Current fish only.

Post on this thread. But yes, you are quite right @black ghost it should be Puntigrus tetrazona.

Only wish I could get hold of some Puntius semifasciolatus in it's wild form, but unfortunately they just don't import them it seems.
