I've had a bit of a play today.

I had 4 nice peices of manzanita wood sitting in a box so today I gave them a good scrub in dechlorinated water and spent about an hour deciding where they would go. I'm happy with them now.

I'm thinking about adding a couple of background plants in the 2 back corners. I want something that has decent sized leaves and doesn't require too much light.

Any suggestions? I'm leaning towards good old amazon sword at the minute.

Following from the kitchen tank disaster I tackled the big tank after the first one. The substrate didn't need a clean in here thanks to all the flow I have along with amanos and SAE's. But it looks like I'm down to 5 angels as well. No sign of a body though.

I pulled a couple of balansae runners that had popped up at the front of the tank and replanted them in the back ground and tidied up some anubias, Matts lovely trident fern is touching the front glass again, I'll trim that next week.

I'm strongly considering a pair of smaller geos like what Stephen has in his aquarium which is the same size as mine.

Looks great Andy, I also like the extra bits of wood, I wish I could get Java fern to survive, it looks amazing when purchased but the plant hates my tanks, soon the leaves go blotchy then they just die off, just been tempted again as they were a good price at my local shop this will be attempt number 3!

I adopted 24 corydoras duplicareas off my dad who sadly cannot look after his tank anymore today. They are quite a family because he started with 8 and this is what he has now.
