Lightbulb moment.....would the suddenly increased pH have anything to do with the torrential thunderstorm and flooding last Wednesday/Thursday?

I know i’m Probably overthinking it, but it just seems so big a change when it’s been 6.4/6.6 for YEARS. And that’s where it settles in the tanks too. With a kH of 1 I know it’ll drop pretty quick.
240L Fluval Roma with Oase 600 Biomaster: 1 German red bristlenose, 4 male cherry barbs, 6 standard rummynose, 3 golden rummynose tetra, 9 emperor tetra, 14 cardinal tetra, 2 hengeli rasbora, 3 nerite snails, 1 adult Sulawesi snail and multiple juveniles continually appearing.

Parameters: gH2, kH1, pH7.4 (tap).
Fish fiend since October 2017.

As @plankton says I would worry too much either. Probably you would there are seasonal fluctuations in pH found world over in rivers and streams.

I will do my best not to panic myself! It’s 7.4 out the tap today so i’ll test the tanks due a W/c today and work out how big a change they can handle.
