I thought the first picture was pretty nice and was about to compliment you, then saw the second Blimey what a transformation! Looks like the spirit of Takashi Amano has paid a visit! Will have a proper read of your set up to get some tips.
Also, those cats are scrumptious.

Edited to add WC routine.
P.s the cats aren't quite as scrumptious now, we live in the country and they have basically turned into cute fluffy little murder machines awwwww!!

Your first setup was nice, the second is lovely!
If you could find a way to hide the pipework and filter etc, it would look like a pro scape

Thank's John it's all new this last month that pipework, the shopping list is long and endless and I try to limit myself to one bit of kit a month, last month was 3, oops.codheadjohn wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 11:48 am Your first setup was nice, the second is lovely!

To make that all blend in I need a glass lilly pipe and intake with skimmer, 5m of clear 16/22mm, and two flow control/isolator valves (Eheim double taps) that way I can lose all the dark pipework and the massively unsightly Eheim skimmer at the front, to be fair I could have just removed that for the photo if I was going to be ocd, for that lot I'm potentially looking at £100+.
The fish were made up as I turned the pump off for the pic which to them only means one thing, can you guess where I feed them.
