Can anyone identify what the orange / red spot is on my Dwarf Gourami?
Checked water parameters all good - swimming around no issues, just concerned regards new coloured spot appearance.

That looks more like a honey gourami rather than a dwarf. If your on about the “mark” behind the eye its the gill, on some honeys it can show when they loose a bit of colour.
To the tune of “the saints go marching in”:
Oh fluffy sheep! Oh fluffy sheep! Oh fluffy sheep are wonderful, they’re white Welsh and fluffy! Oh fluffy sheep are wonderful!

How many do you have, and are they all honeys or are some actually dwarfs?
If some are dwarfs then that could well be from an attack, they tend to go for the gills.

Hmmm...no idea but definitely doesn’t look right. Not seen anything like that on my pair.

It’s a transparent gill cover. It’s not uncommon on the paler honeys. It can come and go with condition / colouration of the fish.
