Well our last two False Julii's are still with us, they have teamed up with our four remaining Bronze Cory's, and seem to be doing ok, fingers crossed. Co2 injection working well, plants are doing very well, especially our red ones. The Oase chrystalskim is working wonders, no scum film on the water surface anymore, and helping with gas exchange as well.
And we purchased an Oase magnet glass cleaner for 10mm glass, what an excellent bit of kit.

Random question but how many Cories in the bag when you bought them and how much water was in it? Could it be that they have poisoned themselves and it’s taken a few days to finish them?

Good question, we purchased six, and they were all in the same bag, about a third full of water. So you could be on to something. But our remaining two are still with us, and seem to be doing ok, fingers crossed they stay ok.
We were after a Honeycomb Bristlenose plec, after seeing Stephens, our local MA hadn't had any for over five years, so we have added a second female bristlenose to the one we already have. She is Beautiful.

Hello all,
Been a while since I posted, hope everyone is ok. All is well with Karen and I, tank is doing well too, Co2 system has changed our plants for the better, plants are really lush, and doing well. Our remaining Julii's passed away sadly, but we still have our Bronze Cory's. And today Karen and myself decided to give Cory's another go, popped to our Gosport branch of MA, but they didn't have much in the way of Cory's, only Bronze and the False Julii's we had before, so left and took a drive to the other MA in Stuart's Garden Centre, they had a much better selection of Cory's, and we left with six "Wild caught" C020's Skunk Cory's, lovely looking specimens. The person we spoke to bagged them individually for us, his idea, give them a fighting chance to start with, and I added Melafix to the bags as well. We couldn't have done anymore I believe.
So, fingers crossed they will survive for us. The £50 for the six is a lot of money, but well worth it if they give Karen and I years of pleasure I believe.

Glad your tank is doing well and good luck with the Cory, I think you got quite a good deal there as Cory often seem to be about £10 each and anything different and/or wild caught often more, like you I think it's worth every penny if you get to watch them scampering about in your tank for years to come, fingers crossed it works out
