Hi guys, I’ve noticed earlier that one of my male Dwarf Gourami has a small red lump on pectoral fin and isn’t using his fin ? My tank has 4 male dwarf Gourami in total and 8 copper harlequin’s, water parameters are ok and the fish in question looks fine eating, swimming etc apart from his pectoral fin ?

Any ideas guys ?

TIA

Have they been fighting (males usually do) or is there anything sharp in the tank, like plastic plants perhaps?

Not seen any aggression TBH but obvious not looking 24/7 there is artificial plants in there yes, do you think it will heal on its own or is there something I could dose in the tank ?

If your water parameters at optimal conditions and the fish is otherwise healthy, then yes should do.

Just remember to half dose with labyrinth fish (gourami and bettas) as meds can cause issues for the labyrinth organ
