I have noticed that one of my Golden barbs is suffering from "popeye". Both eyes are really bulging out! Adivice would be greatly appreciated as I don't wish any more of my fish to have this, and hope I can cure the one which is suffering.
I administered a dose of Melafix to the CT, hoping that it will help.
Golden Barb and Popeye!

Really sorry to hear this Jon, I've had 3/4 small fish over the years with pop eye and/or dropsy, at least once it was because I missed a water change, none of them recovered so hope you get a better outcome, have you tested your water or missed a water change? might be worth checking that's all.

tHAKS, @Staffylover All is well with the water and I religiously do a change every week (Sunday b LOL). I took the Barb out and placed in a seperate tank but as I expected, I couldn't save it. I'll just have to keep an eye (sorry no pun) out for the rest of the CT.

Sorry to hear Jon.
It's usually caused by an underlying problem from something else and is difficult to solve as it does depend on the main problem (similar to "dropsy" caused by water retention from another problem).
