is my guppy pregnant or is it just her colouring? im new to keep tropical fish!

It’s gravid, yes. Looks a young one so could drop fry quite soon... Do you have bushy plants for her and the fry to hide in?

yes i have some java fern and other plants

shes gave birth but i think they have been eaten :(

ive managed to save one will it be ok in a tub of tank water til i get a box to go in the tank tomorrow?

You’d be amazed how well fry can hide, and guppy fry tend to be very small so you may find a few more kicking about.
If you can float the tub in the tank so it doesn’t drop in temp too much, just make sure its a food safe container. You might also have to aerate it, just gently rippling the surface should help.

i managed to get out to the local pet shop and got a breeding box so its quite happily swimming around that now :)
